Parent Guidelines

Practical guidance to help parents and guardians support a child’s online learning, attendance, progress, communication and safety.

Last reviewed September 2026

Prepare for learning

Provide accurate information about the learner’s age, level, previous study, goals and important learning needs.

Before lessons, check the device, internet connection, microphone and audio and prepare the Quran, notebook or other requested materials.

Create a suitable environment

Choose a quiet, appropriate place with limited distractions. Younger learners may benefit from having a parent nearby while still being allowed to interact directly with the teacher.

Attendance and communication

Help the learner join on time and notify the academy through an official channel if attendance is not possible.

Tell us about meaningful changes in the learner’s goals, level, schedule or educational needs.

Support progress

Short and consistent review is usually more useful than occasional long study. Encourage practice calmly and positively without creating excessive pressure.

Privacy and safety

Do not publish lesson screenshots, recordings, teacher contact details or learner information without appropriate permission.

Any safeguarding concern should be reported promptly through an official academy channel.
