What should be recorded when using Prompt reduction during memorisation?

Keep new memorisation small enough that established material can still be revised reliably. Use retrieval before prompts and test from more than one starting point so recall is not tied only to the beginning. Record only information that will guide the next revision decision, such as weak starts or repeated errors.
