What information should be shared to make Substitute-teacher continuity useful?
Use concrete examples of the learner’s current performance, agree one or two priorities, and make feedback specific enough to practise between lessons. Good feedback should gradually improve independent performance rather than create dependence on constant correction. Share examples, previous targets and relevant learning needs rather than vague impressions alone.
