How can Parent-led progress reviews reveal whether prompting is still too heavy?

Use clear criteria at sensible intervals and compare accuracy, independence and transfer to unfamiliar material. One unusually good or bad lesson should not decide the whole judgement. If performance collapses without cues, the checklist should show that independence is not yet secure.
