Our safeguarding commitment
The safety and dignity of children are central to our learning environment. Teachers, staff, parents and learners are expected to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and raise concerns when something appears unsafe or inappropriate.
Professional boundaries
- Communication should relate to learning, scheduling, support or legitimate safeguarding needs.
- Official or approved communication routes should be used whenever reasonably possible.
- Secretive or inappropriate personal conversations with a child are not acceptable.
- Harassment, sexualised content, humiliation, threats, discrimination and intimidation are prohibited.
- Personal information, images and recordings must not be misused.
Role of parents and guardians
A parent or responsible adult should support the enrolment of a minor and remain appropriately aware of lesson arrangements.
For younger learners, families should provide an appropriate learning environment and remain reasonably available when needed.
Reporting a safeguarding concern
Concerns about behaviour, communication, privacy or safety should be reported through an official Muslim Path Academy contact channel.
Where there is immediate danger, the relevant local emergency or child-protection authority should also be contacted.
